#2022inShort

As we bid farewell to 2022, YouTube Shorts wanted to celebrate its communities while establishing itself as the ultimate spot for reminiscing and rewatching the year’s best viral moments. So we set out to bring eight of the year’s biggest content trends to life across Netflix ads, pre-roll & social OLV, out-of-home, and digital formats. Using a viral track that felt sooooo 2022, VO to aid in accessibility, and a design system that oozed a genuine, user-generated feel—#2022inShort was born. Our EOY campaign collaborated with top creators across trending categories to create a series of videos that were full of good times and great vibes…and totally blew brand metrics out of the water.
